Congratulations to Cookies For Kids’ Cancer, the recent winner of the Jimmie Johnson Foundation Samsung Helmet of Hope for More campaign! In an online campaign, Cookies For Kids’ won first place after getting 125,000 votes during a three week voting period.  Four-time winning Sprint Cup Series champ Jimmie Johnson announced the winner on  Speed Channel’s “Trackside Live” program Friday evening.

Cookies for Kids’ Cancer is a public charity that was founded by Gretchen and Larry Witt when their 2-year old, Liam was diagnosed  with a deadly form of pediatric cancer called Neuroblastoma. Ever since, the Witt family has been raising awareness to this deadly cancer, starting from their first bake sale that raised a whopping $400,000 for pediatric cancer.  Continuing the tradition ever since, Cookies for Kids’ Cancer continues to raise awareness, and work to develop new and better treatments for the children battling cancer around the world.

Border7 is proud to work with Cookies for Kids’ Cancer, and look forward to seeing more of the remarkable things to come from them.
